I get this message when I try to start a new topic in the ''Kinship Forum'':
Sorry, but only users granted special access can post topics in this forum.
Permissions say you Cannot post new topics
but it says I can reply to existing topics... weird... can you fix this please Maverickson?

I don't know on what system these forums are based, but my guess is that it is phpbb code-alike. The message you are receiving is typical for users who have read-only access, meaning they can only reply to already existing topics, but cannot create new ones (functioning as an additional security layer). Solving this is merely an act of changing the restriction level.
