RP events - suggestions

If I missed it earlier - 19gmt tonight, in Rivendell!

They had travelled so far now, from Rivendell into Eregion, a place that Eovind feared greatly, and on into the Mines of Moria, the dwarven kingdom of Khazad-Dûm... Venomir's lies never took a hold of the Glade, but instead it made them work even harder to find out what really happened to Elder Maverickson. And it wasnt until Humphert, Gandrill and Attias managed to expose this traitor, that the hope of finding Maverickson sprung to life. Some had claimed that he was hiding in Moria, and so they departed from Rivendell and later into the Mines themselves...maybe it was just a false hope, but they had to try... But, the Glade did not stand alone in this fight...word had been sent to the Vanimar, allies of the Glade, and in the care of Lord Anglachelm they travelled into the Mines.

Eovind's clothes were soiled with goblin blood...his quiver was almost empty, the arrows stuck in the dead bodies of goblins and their warg mounts...he looked at the friendly faces around him, while scouting the dark corners at the same time. Quietly they walked along the dark and windy road, that no sunlight had ever touched, with only a glimmer of hope of finding their lost friend. For Maverickson had been lost and gone many months, and the words of the man called Venomir echoed in his ears; "Maverickson is dead"...

They passed a great stair that was clad in darkness and shadow, and it was then lord Anglachelm shouted; "A man lies there!". The company approached warily, when suddenly the man raised from the ground...Eovind backed off, with his spear ready to strike, but suddenly he dropped his stance and shouted: "Maverickson!"

For Maverickson it was, the one they had searched for so long...

Their search was finally over...but was the fight over?

.....wandering through the tunnels had finally taken it's toll on this man of Rohan. His blond hair thick with dirt and greatly yearning for the sun to shine upon it once more. Two goblins pounced onto his back, pushing him to the ground. He rolled with them, kicking one in the jaw. The other pulled out his knife and thrust it into the man's face, only to have his target dodge at the last second. A great fist shattered the goblins nose, causing it to run off screaming for aid. The first goblin, shocked at seeing his ally running away, stood rooted to the ground. That second was all it took for the man to bring his pickaxe crashing through the goblins throat, it's body crumbling to the ground. The man listened for any sound of the other orc, cursing his lack of vision in the darkness. " Oh to have the eyes of the great Elf Lord Anglachelm" he muttered. He frisked the dead orcs body for any food that he could find, but to no avail. " I guess I was on the menu tonight" he joked to himself. He gathered his things and continued through the dark tunnel, pausing, he thought that he heard a friendly Rohirrim voice calling his name from afar. Don't be stupid, he thought to himself, no one knows your here. There is a reason for that, he could not drag his friends into this mess that he had created. A while later he found a tall staircase, this should be a good position to rest, he thought. High enough for me to remain unseen, and a good spot for me to look out from. " Oh if only there was something to see in this dark place", he cried. With that he yawned and lay his head down upon his pack, falling into a deep sleep.
A while later he heard voices, muffled in his head due to his senses being confused in the lack of light. A hand touched him, he jumped up at once, ready to fight.
" Die you orcs scum" he shouted, but they were no orcs, they were elves and men, they were the Glade and Vanimar united in their search.
"Maverickson" one of them said.
It seemed as though a bright light shone Maverickson's brow for the smallest of seconds........

A suggestion for a coming RP event:

Escort Maverickson out of the Mines and back to Eriador! More ideas to follow, but do you think it would be any good? That way we can keep building on this storyline and create new ones along the way...

Please post any ideas you might have!

The friends and allies of the Glade, Jeric and Lindeman, may need assistance as they search the elven ruins of Trollshaws. I will accompany them and I ask if anyone else would like to assist when the time comes - as well as follow us on our journey when we unravel the mysteries of old.

((this is about book 11, the last chapters. The two gentlemen Jeric and Lindeman is thinking of joining our Kin, and these events may or may not lead to their further involvement in the Glade. Heavy RP required <:-))

WHEN?!

No time is set, it will be a bit random probably, like all the adventures we've had. But I will keep you all who are interested updated on the kinchannel, or, as in Felogar's case, via /tells if you're on Veryacano.

Currently, Lindeman and Jeric are resting at our Glade Hall, and will probably head out towards Thorins Hall in a little while to find out more of the new weapons they have just found (legendaries). When that is settled we will head towards Trollshaws.

Of course, you are all welcome to accompany us anytime!

pass here, if I remeber, book 11 is when the quests get quite nasty, and horrible... dont like 11-15 for quests, but the story is worth it.

well if im around and not doing much ill be up for it

I reckon we need to do more things as a kin in-character, but also for the lower levels, because last couple of events were aimed for 40-60 region, so maybe a nice fun one perhaps in our seldom used kin house. However I cannot think of a good event at this time.

I have some RP that needs done, at some point Falli needs to see someone who knows the story of the first high-chair of the council... and then afterwards maybe some muscle and some designated RP healers. This is still just something in the works of my brain, but anymore input would be a great help, thankoo

That would be late Elgost (RIP) as the person who was there when Glade was formed. After him would be Eovind, Nemsyn and me. I am in for any RP, just lemme know when

For this RP that I am taking part in on Sunday (time currently in despute) I would like to have some members of our kin to help out with it, I would require you to be at the bridge between the lone lands and the trollshaws slightly before the time, so I will be able to talk to you about what will happen. Any help would be apreciated, and I understand if you cannot make it on such short notice.

My adventures with Lindeman and Jeric continues on occasions, neither of us have much time to play but we stumble into each other from time to time. The last two days we have been roaming in the Annuminas again, and anytime soon we want to continue our quest, but for that we need more brave warriors. I will keep you informed in kin chat when it happens, and hopefully some of you want to/can join in

At tuesday the 10th we will enter Barad Tironn in Annuminas and try to rescue the elf Laerdan! (book 12, chap 3).

Join up and RP with us, worms! Would need 3 more to fill up a fellowship and do the quest, but would love to just get some roleplaying going anyhow, so anyone who wants, please come to Tinnudir at tuesday and help us prepare!

Angharat and Humphert have already expressed their will to contribute, so right now there's one more spot in the fellowship.

Tuesday was bust but luckily we got there on Wednesday. After dealing with Éin (or whoever it was) in Annúminas and a long and perilous journey to Tarmunn Sursa we dealt with some nasty orcs and couple of trolls in Sammath Baul.

It was good fun, at least I enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward to press forward after gathering some strength at the camp site.
